本当にアフリカは大陸か国か？またほかの国が望んでいる方向動かないといけないの？
なぜ、53カ国もあるのに一つとして扱わないといけないのか？
なぜ支援よりビジネス関係の方向に話が進んでいないのか？
なぜこんなにテレビにほぼ希望のない映像しか放送されていないのか？
アフリカの国々それしかないかな。。。

I just wanted to say "Thank you for what you are doing for Africa,it is highly appreciated.I have been living in Japan for years now and i must say that this is the first time and seeing some positive elements regarding Africa.

There is no doubt ,this will serve as a bridge between Africa and Asia and bring cultural awareness to both sides.

いろいろなアフリカを見たいです。

少し前に『アフリカ展』に行きました。

アフリカで、ある日＝その日に、世界中からカメラマンがやって来て、全アフリカに散って行って、アフリカの写真を撮る、ということが行われました。

その写真を見ました。

私がまず驚いたのは、大きなカゴにいっぱいに盛られた果物や魚です。カゴがいくつもあって、各々、はみ出そうなくらい盛られていました。

それを見て圧倒されました。(アフリカは、本当は豊かなんだ！)と思いました。

ずんずん進んでいくと、一人の老人が壁にうずくまった写真。この老人は盲目なのだそうです。低賃金で働く(働かされる)人たちや、エイズの患者さんたち。

暗い面の写真もありました。

そしてまた、広い広いアフリカの大地。…

私はいろいろなアフリカが見たいです。

I'd like to see various aspects of Africa.

I went to Exhibition of Africa the other day.

The pictures featured at that exhibition were taken like this:
photographers gathering from all over the world dispersed around African continent,
and took photographs there.

I saw those pictures.

First of all I was surprised to see the picture of fruits and fish heaped up in the big basket.
There were many baskets and all of them were overfull.

I was overwhelmed to see that. My impression was "Africa is rich, actually!"

As I continue to look through the exhibit, I saw a picture of an old man crouching along the wall. That man was blind.
I saw other pictures of low wage workers and patients of HIV/AIDS.
There were photographs which show the negative side of Africa as above.

And the next pictures I saw were the vast extent of African land.

I really want to see a lot of aspects Africa.

I have great hope and anticipation toward TICAD Ⅳ.

refugee support from Peace Winds Japan, conflict resolution and peace building
